Chennai Guyz Unplugged - We are ten.We are not a herd of guys sitting around and laugh for nothing .We are brought together in the course of various situations, from playing cricket on the streets of Chennai to sitting on the same bench in the school. We are bonded by passion, zest for knowledge, spirit of enjoying life . Though livin' scattered around the globe now and hardly have we met up, our part in each others life continues intact.

Hey I am srivasthan santhanam, but when it comes here at CUG people would ask "Who is this?" because am so called as KUTTI here. I hold a bachelors in engineering as of now from anna university , chennai.My hobby and passion is all just a 5 letter word "MUSIC". Sometimes my passion turns big and increases a bit more to a 6 letter word "ACTING" when I am part of the CUG film making!!! i thank GOD for all I have today and the greatest gift that I consider HE has given me is my voice.So I love singing and at times do more of it. I see always myself as KUTTI--very young dude, I hope the group even looks at me in a simlar way and learning a lot in life to get down my thirst for achievement and one fine day this space shouldnt be enough to list down my achievements!!!!! To quote one and to start with I secured the first prize in the inter-college music fest conducted by anna university. That day made me feel that I have started with and must similarly continue with the winning streak!!!!!

Hey, you know me. Actually, you can see me everywhere. I am the guy who is trying to hit a six while walking down the foot path, i am the one who you see driving with a mobile in one hand and a can of coke in the other, i am he who is always on his way and just 5 minutes away, the guy who always just misses out coming first, only just, i am that programmer who plays online games for 3 weeks and works overnight to meet the deadline, the student association president who organises a 500 people symposium and runs out of fuel on the way to uni, i am the friend,the son, the brother who doesnt call for a month but always thinks about you and will always be there when it matters, the guy who might run out of answers but always has more questions, i am the one person you never ask to write about himself. I love to hit the winning four, see sachin score a hundred, hear the latest ARR melody, hear the oldest Raja melody, watch a good movie and discuss with friends about how good it is, watch a bad movie and discuss about how bad it is, hit that forehand just kissing the line, surprise the loved ones with an unannounced visit, speed in my bike through peak hour traffic, get wet in the beach without a change of clothes, sit on the toilet and read how the Ken Follet heroine ultimately succeeds, dream about barathiyar's kannama, drink that ultimate mochaccino and enjoy that delicious samosa-channa from the dirty little roadside shop. Foremost, I am compelled to extend my regards to Shribros for their venture into renovating this web space to its new Avatar. It is indeed a marvellous use of their precious time to make the site more meaningful. So, am I here to advertise myself or the site? Not sure. I will try and do a bit of both. Of the ten things that we speak about in a day, eight would be of cinema (You might get contradicting numbers over and above eight from the group. Please excuse). We have become fanatics of it; thanks to some whole hearted influence from our beloveds in this group (Thank me for keeping the names secretJ). We eat, sleep, breath and every other verb you can associate with cinema now a days. Of late, there have been major changes in the scheme of things that we do around cinema. It has become more organised for good. All I can say is that we are having a great time with it and I love every bit of it. The site as you go around, has evidence of all this and if you love cinema you are bound to enjoy it.

Well! About myself! So now you know I like cinema so what else? I am this self sustaining (means living alone guys) bachelor working out of Bangalore for a major IT company which is nothing unusual for a youngster to say these days. Love to be in a company of cheerful and fun loving people as is my character. I am this striving to be ideal guy failing frequently enough to remind myself that it is impossible and yet keep up with it. I like to be as much of help to others as possible sometimes even go way out of way to do it. I am sporty, adventurous and have a passion to travel. Love to negotiate thick traffic on a speeding bike. Like to watch and play cricket though playing cricket has become less frequent these days. Other hobbies include playing chess, snooker, swimming and reading books. So, that’s all folks have a wonderful time going around this site and I am sure it has lot of stuff to amaze you. Have fun.

ChennaiGuyzUnplugged has milions of stories to tell and deep rooted bonding to share long before the name was coined. Whatever be it, it needs a name and we cal it 'Chennai Guyz Unplugged'. We started as any other gang would have, playing cricket sharing the same bench in school, spending hours of time playing computer games before the day of exam with a 8MB RAM comp, chatting for hours (hours would be a samller unit to measure the time we spent on chatting) and may more. We are easily identifiable. just look out for outstanding people in every field and collect them , thats it! you have us. Now everyone lives across the globe but still its our bonds that are drawn as latitude and logitudes. Everyone has a passion and our passions attract each other strongly. What makes me proud to be a part of ChennaiGuyzUnplugged is everyone rocks wherever they go. It was an obvious thought that Shriv and i had to get this link on our site. Its more than a name. The very word ChennaiGuyzUnplugged has life and it rocks!!

Hmm.. an engineering graduate currently in IT. A typical Hard working guy :-) a prestigious partner in ChennaiGuyzUnplugged. ofcourse moderator would turn red hot on reading this :-) luv to be here in this group. craze abt watching new mobiles though possess a old one. especially mad with the apple ones. Recently got a new Honda bike - no license so riding in all no-man streets to escape from Mamas. greatest achivement i would think of is driving a brand new BMW from denver to Yellowstone & Las Vegas Currently moulded into a full fledged family man after getting married spending good time with my dad.

We are a band of unlike-minded instruments as Sriram, Srivathsa, Kanda & Guru. Srivathsa and Guru are in cordial frequency to share thoughts, but not emotions. Kanda & Vathsa ride in the same boat mostly waving each other "Bye". Sriram, Kanda & Guru forms a good potpourri. Ends here our band's tune (only for now).

Well, You guys know more about me. So, I need not introduce myself again. Education is a tough question. I did BE as everyone else did :-P To rewind a little bit and if I could have done something else, probably I would have been one heck of a lawyer (lolz) or a doctor (again lolz) or might be a camera man (Srivats, adutha filmku ippovey enkitta call sheet vaangikko!!!). Well, going by facts now, after great college days I completed my Engineering. My character: Iam the same still with little patches and service packs here and there. May be now Iam "Radhakrishnan V 1.4 SP2". :-) CUG: This group is one group whose physical presence that I really miss dudes, for all the geographic constraints had played its role. All you guys have kept the group alive (kudos to srivats, sriram though). Though I write down very little to the group, Iam enjoying all the mails that Iam looking into. As of now I will keep this short and will tell you guys more when I write more. Cheers.

When we were shaped, the group was nameless. If it was named then, it would've been "Madras Guyz Unplugged". I should say even "Unplugged" wouldn't have been there, coz we were so immature to understand "Unplugged" (It doesn't signify much even now :) ), when we were brought together . We hail from a city that nourished us with nothing except fun and destiny. People who gaze from outside will never comprehend the color, the city has. Only when you descend into the dream of Chennai, you'll breathe life and we descended into that dream of colors and vision. Anyone can enclose a group or a band and we got a million of them around the planet getting them projected in their own webpages. We are no different from them. The rationale is, being unusual doesn't necessarily mean doing things big and has become so usual. The contentment you get in being together is what we strive for ; being together by heart; Keep going thru' all the profiles and you'll note a lot of things that we share and cherish.
